How viewing fees work

Dryft uses pay-as-you-watch billing. You are charged only for active playback time.

When charges start and stop​

  • Charges begin when playback starts.
  • Charges stop when you stop watching, pause, or exit playback.
  • Backgrounding the app stops charges as well.

Why fees vary​

Each title sets its own price. Your total cost depends on:

  • The price set for that title
  • The exact amount of time you watch

Replays and rewatches​

Rewatches count as new viewing time. If you replay a scene, that time is billed again.

If your balance runs low​

You will see a warning before you run out of credits. You can add more credits at any time.
